SPSE hosts an annual conference to bring together a community of people who are enthusiastic about philosophically orientated topics related to education and encourages a thoughtful exchange of ideas in a welcoming environment. Papers accepted for presentation will be considered for publication in the double-blind peer-reviewed journal, the Journal for the Philosophical Study of Education (JPSE).

CALL FOR PROPOSALS:
November 4-5, 2022 – VIRTUAL
Due to the uncertain development of COVID-19, the upcoming conference and symposium will be VIRTUAL.
A) Conference: We invite philosophically oriented papers related to education in the widest sense for presentation at our annual conference. Topics include – but are not limited to – the following:
B) Symposium: As part of the conference we plan a symposium. We invite scholarly reflections from diverse philosophical and educational perspectives around the following theme:

- Send your proposal (300-500 words) as a Word or PDF document to sabrina.bacher@uibk.ac.at.
- Depending on your submission, designate “SPSE 2022 – Annual Conference” or “SPSE 2022 – Symposium” in the subject line.
- Provide your name, affiliation, and email address in the body of your e-mail.
- Extended deadline for submission is September 30, 2022.
